Minutes of the vestry (governing body of the church), 1804-1983, with miscellaneous rules, regulations, notes and bills. Registers of baptisms, confirmations, communicants and burials, 1820 to the present; a parish register begun 1850 contains information on marriages, baptisms and burials compiled from earlier sources, including transcriptions from the diary of Henry Smith, 1735-1750. Financial records include ledgers, cashbooks, journals and bills, 1931-1985, with some from earlier dates. Minutes and financial records of the Women's Auxiliary, 1958-1963. Maps, plans and surveys of church buildings and property including diagrams of cemetery plots, and plans for the 1937 restoration of the church by Richard Haviland Smythe; other materials on the 1937 restoration include financial records, specifications, lists of contractors, minutes and programs. Also, photograph slides of the restoration of the church tower and steeple, 1986-1987; a scrapbook of clippings, photos, programs and other material, 1907-1936; miscellaneous photographs and correspondence; and wills, deeds, receipts, checks, bills and other records from the 19th and early 20th centuries, with some as early as the 1790s.

Architect Richard Haviland Smythe was born in 1889. He attended Brooklyn Latin School and Columbia University, from which he was granted a degree in architecture in 1909. Other education included an appointment at the American Academy in Rome. Smythe practiced exclusively in New York City.
